Kitsune mask clay Ichinomiya hariko
Two fox mask. They are made of hariko (papier-mâché). The kitsune are Japanese spirit yokai, with this representation they are servants of inari, the kami of cereals, foundries and commerce, guardian of the house.
They each have a small box provided by the craftsman.
Decor 1: three lines on the forehead.
Decor 2: This is a magical or sacred gemstone that fulfills wishes in the Buddhist tradition. However in the Shinto tradition, she is also associated with the fox goddess Inari. She is pictured here on fire.
